Buying a body composition scale you can't try in a shop first takes a bit of trust. This page sets out exactly what happens if the Hume Pod doesn't work out for you.

You Get 50 Nights

From the day your order arrives, you have 50 nights to send it back for a full refund — for any reason, no explanation needed. It doesn't have to be unused or in its original box; we stand behind it even after normal use.

Sending It Back, Step By Step

1. Get in touch through the Hume Health app or the email address on your order confirmation, and let us know you'd like to send your order back.
2. A prepaid return label lands in your inbox within 1 working day.
3. Pack up the scale and the handheld sensor bar together — you don't need the original box.
4. Drop it off at any courier drop point using the label provided.
5. Once it's received and checked, your refund goes back to your original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days.

What You Get Back

The complete purchase price, in full. Added the 10-Year Warranty when you ordered and you're sending the scale back too? That add-on gets refunded alongside it — there's nothing left for it to cover once the device is gone.

Who Pays for Return Postage

We do. The prepaid label is free for any return within the 50-night window, provided the order was placed directly through humepod.uk.

A Few Things To Note

• This guarantee covers orders placed directly with us. Bought through a third-party marketplace instead? Start with their return process — we can't guarantee the same terms apply there.
• Refunds land back on the exact payment method used when you checked out. There's no option to send a refund to a different card or account instead.
• Past the 50-night mark, a faulty unit may still qualify for a warranty repair or replacement — see below.

Warranty Claims

Every Hume Pod carries a 1-year hardware warranty covering genuine manufacturing defects — things like sensor inaccuracy or charging faults under normal use. If you bought the optional 10-Year Warranty, that cover runs the full decade from your original purchase date, and includes on-request recalibration if you ever notice accuracy drift.

Get in touch with support, order number and a brief description of the fault in hand. The overwhelming majority of hardware claims are resolved by posting out a free replacement unit.
